- My first novel, "Paying the Price," is about a real estate deal on Maui that goes terribly bad, threatening to derail the lives of everyone involved. My challenge was to write the story of a Realtor like myself and my friends, who works hard to do the right thing while her personal life is exploding around her. I am also a professional indexer. I create back-of-the-book indexes for nonfiction books.
